Hunter Valley Wildlife Park

Formerly the Hunter Valley Zoo, this family-owned park sits on open bushland acreage near Cessnock, an easy add-on to a day in wine country. It's a low-key, country zoo that mixes Australian natives with a range of exotic species, and leans into the hands-on, unhurried feel of a regional park.
